About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales/Marketing Associate to join our team, focused on promoting and selling our STEM tutoring services to private secondary schools in Lagos. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the education sector, and possess existing relationships with private secondary schools in Lagos State. This is a critical role that requires a dynamic individual who can drive growth and expand our reach within the education sector.


Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Identify and target private secondary schools in Lagos to promote and sell our STEM tutoring services.
Leverage existing relationships with school administrators and decision-makers to secure new business opportunities.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Conduct presentations and demonstrations of our STEM tutoring services to school management, teachers, and parents.


Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within the schools, including principals, teachers, and school administrators.
Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Act as the primary point of contact for schools, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing client expectations.


Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities.
Gather feedback from schools to inform the development and improvement of our STEM tutoring services.
Analyze sales data and market trends to develop insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies.


Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the communications team to develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities targeting private secondary schools.
Utilize social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
Participate in education fairs, workshops, and other events to promote our services and expand our network.


Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including progress against targets, client feedback, and market insights.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales processes and outcomes.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within the education sector.
Proven experience selling to private secondary schools in Lagos, with an existing network of relationships in the education sector.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade school decision-makers.
Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing tools.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
