The Lafarge Technical Skills Development Training aims to equip successful candidates with the necessary skills and mindset for self-employment or employability.
This 18-month non-residential program offers intensive technical training, including tuition-free lectures, practical hands-on sessions, and a stipend to cover out-of-pocket expenses.
Lafarge Africa Plc invites qualified Ordinary National Diploma holders to apply for this comprehensive vocational training program, which covers multiple technical disciplines:
- Maintenance Processes: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation, Welding and Fabrication Technology.
- Cement Manufacturing Processes: Production, Process, and Quality Control.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Lafarge Technical Skills Development Training, you must meet the following criteria:
- Completion of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution not earlier than 2021.
- Minimum of 5 O’level credits to include English Language, Mathematics. Physics, Chemistry and any other subject (in a maximum of 2 sittings).

- The program is designed to train and equip successful candidates with the skills and attitude to be self-employed/employable in the vocational areas listed above.
- It is a non-residential, 18-month technical intensive training scheme in which successful candidates will enjoy tuition-free lectures, rigorous hands-on sessions and a token allowance to offset out-of-pocket expenses.
- At the end of the program, candidates will be issued the Lafarge Internal Certificate.

The Lafarge Technical Skills Development Training will be conducted in three locations within Nigeria;
- Ewekoro, Ogun State
- Mfamosing, Cross River State
- Ashaka, Gombe State
