DO Take Action and DEAL Capital are excited to announce the launch of the African Social Innovation Fellowship (ASIF), a transformative opportunity for young leaders across Sub-Saharan Africa. This fellowship program equips fellows with the knowledge, opportunities, resources, and network needed to lead a successful career, access opportunities, become a global leader in their field, and most importantly, shape the future of their community, country, Africa, and the world.
The African Social Innovation Fellowship (ASIF) is a 6-month immersive program designed to equip young leaders, social innovators and changemakers with the skills, network, and resources to drive sustainable social impact across Africa. Fellows will work closely with our Country Coordinators to expand and strengthen our network of youth-led impact organizations in their communities.This program is designed to enable you to navigate the international landscape expertly, create cross-culture connections, and foster growth for businesses and communities in your nation, Africa, and worldwide.
Who Should Apply?
  • You are a leader or interested in becoming a Leader. You want to be a force for good and change in your Community or Nation.
  • You want to Improve your economic condition, access local and global job or internship opportunities or want to build a stable career.
  • You want to access and leverage local and global opportunities and networks such as Scholarships, conferences etc.


Program Component and Benefits

The African Social Innovation Fellowship (ASIF) is a 6 month immersive program designed to equip young leaders, social innovators and changemakers with the skills, network, and resources to drive sustainable social impact across Africa. Fellows will work closely with our Country Coordinators to expand and strengthen our network of youth-led impact organizations in their communities.

  • 6 Months of instructor-led and Self-paced Learning

Attend free masterclasses and curated courses by industry leaders across the knowledge spectrum for international development or social entrepreneurship, including hands-on and real-time practical.

  • Global Exposure

Opportunities for international travel and participation in conferences and events.

  • Project Funding

Selected fellows will have access to funding opportunities to support their community projects or social enterprises.

  • Execute a Community Project or Launch a Business Venture

During the program, and with support from our program partners, you will be equipped to execute a community impact project that will enable you to make a difference in your community and position you as a leader and changemaker. Alternatively, receive support to incubate or launch a business venture.

  • Networking Opportunities

Connect with a diverse network of global leaders and changemakers committed to social and economic development in Africa and the African Diaspora.

  • Mentorship and Support
